Driving down the road I had this idea pop into my head, Instagram book club. Awhile ago, I ran a book club. It slowly fell apart. Often people were to busy to make the monthly meetings. Completely understandable since most of us are busy moms. Many left the book club because leaving the group was easier than to committing to a monthly meeting.
I am missing the book club but not ready to gather a bunch of women together knowing it possibly could fall apart. So, this is where Instagram book club came to mind. If your interested in an easy and laid-back book club keep reading.
Welcome to the easy-going, no commitment, book club! Every month I will be posting on my Instagram feed a picture of our monthly book. This will be a book I was suggested or stumbled upon at the bookstore. Here are the easy steps to the book club.
- Follow me on Instagram. @mamaandarmylife
- Find my monthly book post. I will be posting a few days before the new month starts so you have time to find the book.
- If your interested get the book posted and take the next month to read it.
- If you have any questions or comments on the monthly book, comment below book picture. We can all chat about the book together.
- At the end of each month I will be going live on Instagram to chat about what we read. We do not have a set day for the live just because #momlife.
The rules to this book club are very simple. Always be kind to everyone’s thoughts and opinions. We are all different in our own beautiful way. Don’t judge someone’s thought process. Next rule always know you don’t have to read the monthly book. If you’re in a season of life that you are too busy, then don’t feel obligated to read. If you feel like the book choice for the month is not your taste also don’t feel obligated. What I inversion this book club to be is something fun and not to serious. Hope you guys enjoy!
