My Favorite Back to School Purchases

          This is one of my favorite quotes to tell my son before he starts his school day. Our littles will be starting back to school any day now. Time to pack the swimsuits away and head to the store to buy school supplies. Back to school shopping has always been so fun for me. Here is what we will be buying to start our year off right.

Let’s talk back packs and lunch boxes. Pottery Barn kids back packs and lunch boxes are my favorite not just because the amusing prints and the monogram that can be added for a few dollars more. I find them to be very durable. My son was very rough on his backpack last but you could never tell. These bags can go right into the wash. These are the perfect bags to last multiple years. Even though they come with a large price tag they are worth every penny. Currently some of the backpacks are on sale for under $45.

Another one of my favorite pottery barn items is the pencil pouches. Monograms can also be added. They have the cutest prints and are currently on sale for $7. Here are a few of my favorite prints.

I have a few mom friends who swear by these Bentgo lunch boxes. When hearing about them I read some reviews online and decided to make the purchase. When opening the box, you can tell it seals well but is not hard to open. This box has 5 areas to store food. One large area and four smaller compartments. The smallest one is perfect for dipping sauce. I will be using it for humus or ranch for my kids’ veggies. It is best to hand wash. It cleans very easy. Every kid needs a good water bottle for school. Opening your kids backpack and seeing that their water bottle leaked all over the side is never fun. Here are a few water bottles we love to use. These are all from amazon.

The last back to school item to through in your cart when shopping…….. a nice bottle of wine. Some of us might be crying sad tears when we drop our babies off for the first day. Some of us might be crying happy tears that summer break is over. But we all deserve a glass of wine for making it through the first day of school.
