12 Days of Christmas books!

This is a tradition we celebrate every year! I have been doing this family fun activity with my kids since my oldest was 6 months old. (who is now 6) Books have always been a major part in my children’s upbringing so this was the perfect tradition to start. Each night during the 12 days of Christmas book countdown my kids pick out the labeled book under the Christmas tree, unwrap it and then read it before bed. We start with 1 and go to of course 12.

Traditional advent calendars include candy, but I prefer to gift the kids with something a little different since I know they will have plenty of sugar over the holidays.

Starting this tradition really brought so much holiday spirit into our home and teaches them the art of giving and sharing. I am so excited to share this with you guys and hopefully inspire a few families to welcome in this holiday tradition. We have found it to be so much fun!

I listed a few books below that will be shipped to your home through amazon prime. This way you can get these fast and ready to wrap before the 12 days starts! If your family is not able to purchase new books that is totally fine. You can still welcome this tradition with books from the library. Just wrap them up and return them when your done! We normally buy a few new books and wrap a few old Christmas books from other years.
