Our baby bug turned 8 months today! Oh Atlas you get better by the minute. I maybe completely biased but everyone who meets you loves you. Your truly perfection baby boy.
He is growing like a weed. Atlas is in size 18-month clothes. He is so close to 22 pounds. He is already rocking a size 4 shoe. His arm and leg rolls are falling off and he is growing very tall.
Last month we were worried because he wouldn’t put any weight on his legs. Well that worry is long gone! Atlas now will stand tall in his jumper and assisted by mom. His jumper is still his favorite thing. Little man loves to jump around with the biggest smile on his face.
Atlas is starting to get on all fours to stretch for toys. I foresee crawling to happen very soon. BLW is still going great for this big boy. He is often eating more than his brother and sister at meals. Which he is always up for there leftovers. Atlas loves to imitate sounds. His favorite would be clicking his tongue. He is becoming very vocal.
Atlas is a baby who always has a smile on his face. His brother and sister can always make him laugh. We are so blessed to have such a happy and chill baby boy. We are still having troubles sleeping at night. Often, he just wants to greet you with a big smile and then nurse back to sleep. Which makes waking up frequently not so bad.
Atlas is always up for any adventure. He recently went on a trip to Portland Oregon. His favorite part was of course eating jelly filled Voodoo Donuts. On our trip he also loved sitting outside by the fire and on the back deck of the tree house. Our baby boy already loves the outdoors. It is so cute to see how excited he gets when we take him outside.
My sweet baby Atlas, you have grown so much in the last 8 months! Time is passing by way to fast. I feel like it was just yesterday I was holding you in my arms for the first time. Your tiny little snuggles from day one have always been the best. How is it that you have learned to laugh, smile, roll over, grasp things with your tiny hands, and eat like a grown boy. Even though you grow bigger every day, you will always be my baby boy.
So excited for another fun month with this sweet boy.
